COVID-19 FAQS

The following is key information regarding COVID-19 measures at Doggy Weekend.

To gain entry to Doggy Weekend events all members MUST demonstrate their COVID-19 vaccination status and test status. You will do this once when collecting your registration pack.

Without exception you must fulfil the following criteria to gain entry to Doggy Weekend:

  • Have completed a full vaccination regime and at least 14 days since final shot.

  • Take a Lateral flow, antigen, or PCR COVID-19 test within 24 hours of registration pickup.

  • Have a paid ticket for the event.

The following information is for ticket holders from England:

You will need the NHS App to demonstrate your vaccination and test status. Please note you need the NHS app, not the NHS COVID-19 app (yes we know):

To gain entry you will be require to show BOTH of the below from within the NHS app:

  • Proof of full vaccination– both doses received (with the second at least 14 days before) .

  • Proof of a negative COVID-19 Test taken no earlier than 24 hours before entry. The easiest way to do this is with a lateral flow test, available for free from any chemist or supermarket. You will need to report the results of your lateral flow test here for it to appear in the app. If using a lateral flow test, it must be performed at least two hours before the event for the result to appear in the app.

Had Covid-19 Recently?

If you've had Covid in the last 90 days, then you will not be able to take a fresh test (either Lateral-flow, or PCR), as there is a high chance you'd get a false-positive. Instead, you'll be able to simply show us your Covid-19 records to validate when your positive tests occurred at the start of your Covid infection. So long as these were no more than 90 days ago, and your infectious period (and self-isolation) has now passed, then we will accept this as proof of recovery. If the 90 day window has passed, you must follow the other requirements for testing highlighted above.

International Ticket holders:

All ticket-holders will be asked to demonstrate their COVID-19 status regardless of origin country.

International ticket holders will be asked to do this by showing a valid NHS COVID Pass or EU Digital COVID Certificate.
